"In 2010 Chrysler informed me to obtain Master Certification, I would have to attend one spring and one fall 20 Group meeting. The first thing that went through my mind was this is just another training charge I have to pay for. The second thing was this is just a bunch of guys in a room wanting to steal my ideas.  I thought about it and asked why would I want to let everyone else know how we make money at our dealership. After some time I decided to enroll myself and my parts manager just to get our certification status. We both had a plan to attend the meeting and just get through it.

The first day of the meeting the moderator explained how the meeting works. I then realized this meeting wasn’t about letting people steal your ideas. I realized this was a working meeting on all aspects of our jobs. Dealership performance, goal setting, reviewing market changes, etc. The topics go on and on.  I then realized that the 20 Group meetings were more than a certification.

Since the spring of 2010 I have attended every fall and spring FCA 20 Group and have been able to bring some great knowledge and great ideas back to my dealership that have been shared by others in the group."

"I’ve been a service manage/director for 30 years. One of the best decisions I ever made was to join and attend FCA 20 Groups. It has provided me far more than I could have ever achieved on my own. I was 27 years old when I was introduced to the service manager chair. Prior I was a technician for 8 years in a IRF.  I knew absolutely nothing about a dealership's service department or how they ran.

My first 20 group meeting was extremely eye opening and very helpful in getting me pointed in the right direction and helped me start to understand all the elements to the fix operations of the dealership.

I had a 30 year run with the same dealership as Service Manager/Director and now as of March of 2018 General Manager. I started with two technicians myself and one parts person in 1988.  It has grown today to over 52 parts and service people doing $9,523,476 in gross sales last year; not bad for little old Nampa. Idaho. Many of the ideas, practice’s, policy’s , measures, systems and accountability were conceived, developed and refined through the FCA 20 Group meetings.

Taking the time with a group of sharp creative people to work directly on your business… it’s the difference of doing a good job or a great job.  Like anything,  it’s not what you take but what you give! I have to give great credit to FCA 20 Groups and all of those creative people I’ve met over the years for my success.  Take the time and join an FCA 20 Group; I did."

The moderator helps keep the meeting moving, works us through the financials and is a wealth of knowledge for current events on our industry to share.

When it began none of us knew the impact it would have on our careers or our business.

The friendships that I have made with other members and the exchange of ideas that occurs during these meetings between all of the attendees has helped me beyond any expectations.

I know that our Service and Parts departments would not be as successful today if I had not attended these spring and fall meetings.

I encourage anyone in a position of Service and or Parts Management to attend.

You will not be disappointed."

What is an Elite Closed Group?

What is an Elite Closed Group?

Currently, FCA 20 Groups offers three "elite closed" groups.  An "elite closed" group is only open to those who are current members unless stated otherwise in the group's bylaws.

There are minimum requirements to become a member of each of these groups.  Please review the following elite closed groups offered by FCA, as each group has their own requirements and those requirements differ from group to group.

If you are interested in joining any of the groups listed below, please contact Jen Short at Jen@FCA20Group.com or by calling

616-337-8927 to learn more about the specific group you wish to join.
